Rob Brown is Chief of the Bureau of Economic Analysis' (BEA's) Regional Economic Measurement Division, overseeing the state and local area personal income accounts. He has spent his 34 year career as an economist at BEA working on state and county estimates of personal income and employment including guiding the bureau's research into improving the timeliness and quality of the state and local area personal income estimates. He is coauthor of several research articles for the bureau's publication, Survey of Current Business and BEA's Working Paper series, including Reliability of State Personal Income and The Feasibility of Producing Personal Income to Adjusted Gross Income (PI-AGI) Reconciliations by State.
